KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set-up, pack away and maintain equipment in a safe and hygienic manner
- Ensure responsibility for attending assigned shifts and following the correct procedures when at work
- Complete daily shift reports and other documentation as required
- Create programs for Clients and assess their achievements
- Provide education about best practice fitness activities
- Develop and deliver group fitness classes
- Develop and deliver personal training services
Safety and Supervision
- Supervise and control patrons using the facility and equipment
- Monitor the safety of Clients and, ensure a clean & safe environment always
Customer Service
- Conduct health planning/ screening with new Clients or as required
- Support membership retention and marketing strategies
- Communicate with Clients and advise them about their personal fitness programs and service needs
- Establish a friendly and professional relationships with Clients
Teamwork
- Wear appropriate uniform. (eg, corporate clothing, footwear, name badge)
- Enforcing facility rules in accordance with policies and procedures
- Contribute to planning and promotional activities
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Certificate III Fitness or higher qualification
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Working with Children Check
- Group Fitness program delivery experience / qualifications (not essential, but will be viewed favourably)
